Midterm Essay
How do you think computers will most change life in the next decade?
Throghout the next decade, computers will probably be part of normal life.You can already see very cheap computers around and anyone who doesn't have a computer doesn't because of price because it sure is cheap.Currently there's a lot of hints that within 10 years everbody will have a computer and it will be used everyday.These hints are computers are used in all businesses, a lot of services are performed through the internet, and computers are becoming more user friendly so that anyone can use them with ease.
First off, now a days computers are used in ALL businesses, there is no exception, all businesses have at least 1 computer for different tasks.In the future this will be like a requirement for all businesses because of the different tasks it can easily do such as email or calculate profit and a lot of other things.Businesses without email are currently closing a lot of door since its a good way for its customer to contact them on closed hours.Secondly, a lot of services and new businesses are born on computers mostly in the internet.Companies such as Myspace and YouTube make a lot of money on their free webpages just by having adverts in there and providing a good service people are attracted to.Not only are computers helping businesses but they are helping to create them.At last, each time computers are becoming more user friendly so people who are not too smart with them can use them too.This shows how computers are on their way to become a part of daily human life.Software programmers know that user friendly programs will attract all kinds of people.Those who know a lot and those who don't so they make their program as easy to use as they can while still maintaning quality and functionality.
In conclusion, in a decade or even less computers will change lives and will become part of normal human life.In the future people wont be able to live without computers sometimes we will rely too much on them.Currently computers are a big part of life but not as big as it will be in the future where everbody will have one and wont be able to be with none.I think within 10 years everbody will be carrying a laptop around...Including to school to type in classes and less mess than it is with what we do today(binders).I am extremely sure it will change life in a significant way because they will be used in all businesses,a lot of services are created through them, and user friendly software makes it easier for people who dont have a lot of computer knowledge.

Idea for video
A good idea for a class video would be that we record different stuff we do at class.I think a good idea is to show off some of the programs different students have made & also show the fun aspect of the classes.There could be footage of people playing Line Rider and listening to music while doing work so new students can know the class is going to be fun.Its just a tactic to not scare people who get bored easily.There's 3 basic things this video would have to include to be sucessful and popular with students 1.Fun stuff,2.Interesting stuff, and 3.Good students.
First, We would need fun & interesting stuff.A video showing the fun stuff we sometimes do at class like do line rider tracks & such would make people be interested in joining.We could show interesting things that you could do with programming or technology in the class that the average person would like.We could record a program that people may use every day and they didn't know they could make it themselves.
Second and last, We would need to show good students in the video.Most students dont want to join a class that is not organized and most of them dont admit it but it is true.We can show our students in a good behavior but with a good mood & good humor to show people how fun it is.And so with this bait people shall come to our class!

A wiki is a webpage that allows visitors to be able to edit the information in it without actually having to register.It doesn’t require for the user to know HTML.Wikipedia is an accurate professional encyclopedia because no matter what you do your never going to find a source of information without bias.It is just impossible.Even in its smallest trace there is bias in any encyclopedia.There is no way for a human to compile an encyclopedia without supporting one side or the other.In wikipedia users may come and both sides of the information may be presented, however some less decent users delete the side they don’t support and just add theirs.For the most part wikipedia has a lot of information to offer and most of it is right.Most users are honest and some just want to contribute and speak their hearts out by creating new wiki topics and other things.How can a person tell if a person is bias without he himself being bias?In my opinion, its not possible.I just think people should just appreciate wikipedia because it really helps students and teachers gather information.In wikipedia you can lookup anything about anything because people make pages on things other people are interesting in.People may claim wikipedia has a lot of biased information but any other encyclopedia may be too.How do they know it is biased?how do they know the other source isn’t the one that is biased?Wikipedia is just a great free web service and it may not be the most accurate some times but it lets people express their side,opinion, and ideas.Whoever complains about wikipedia is just whining with no reason because it is not doing harm just helping a lot of people when looking for information about anything.I think in the future wikipedia will be to encyclopedias what google is to search engines.

Solar energy thingy
google is thinking of using solar energy to provide electricity to their compound.They say it may cost a lot but at the end it will pay itself.It will provide 30% of theelectricity for the mllion square foot compound.Google says this will also attract engineers who want to diminish the damage it does to the atmosphere.The power of the system could power 1,200 californian homes.This is a great idea not only for google but for other companies as well...Google may start a trend with this.

My opinion on online gambling
My opinion in online gambling is that its cool.Sometimes you get free money without you not even giving anything.For example my brother got 1200 free he dind't pay nothing he just entered a tournament with the free money he was given and he won.If people are addicted they should just lose their money for being stupid.It's their money they should do what they want with it.Goverment shoudln't interfere with gambling and the people should be able to do whatever they want to with their money.If im gonna be limited on how to use my money why would i want money and is it really mine?
