When is it okay to pirate software, if ever?
When things are too expensive or outrageously overpriced

Is the author correct? Does piracy encourage people to BUY things?
Sometimes...Piracy does not always offer full features(at least in software)

What should movie companies do to stop piracy (if anything)?
They cannot do nothing.
